    You are invited to Flower Mound to cheer on the participants in the Flower Mound Veterans Day Relay on Veterans Day, November 11. In this Olympic torch-style relay run, participants honor our nation's veterans by carrying the American flag on a route all the way around Flower Mound. The Veterans Day Relay Run ends with a post-event celebration at the Community Activity Center.

    Fishing Report from TPWD (Jan. 29)

    SLOW. Water stained; 47 degrees; 0.25 feet below pool. White bass are in 45-50 feet of water with fish suspended 31-40 feet down in deep water river channels. Use white slabs on a stinger hook with a small jig head with a power gulp minnow tied two feet above. Report by Omar Cotter, Luck O’the Irish Fishing Guide Service.
