    You are invited to Flower Mound to cheer on the participants in the Flower Mound Veterans Day Relay on Veterans Day, November 11. In this Olympic torch-style relay run, participants honor our nation's veterans by carrying the American flag on a route all the way around Flower Mound. The Veterans Day Relay Run ends with a post-event celebration at the Community Activity Center.

    Fishing Report from TPWD (Nov. 13)

    GOOD. Water normal stain; 65 degrees; 1.70 feet below pool. Afternoon bite has been during the full moon. Birds are working leading the way to white bass. White bass are good feeding heavily so cast swimbaits, slabs or jigs. Catfish can be caught mixed in with the white bass. Report by Omar Cotter, Luck O’the Irish Fishing Guide Service.
