Change of Scenery: 4 Unique Vacation Rentals on Eagle Mountain Lake

If you’re looking to get some time away at the lake but want a change of scenery, look no further than the next lake to the west. Some of the most unique lake rentals in Texas are just outside the Fort Worth city limits on and around Eagle Mountain Lake. This lake features more than 8,000 acres of water and plenty of fishing, camping, boating, skiing, and other recreational activities. There is often live music at the waterfront restaurants and marinas. Whether you are planning a fun vacation for the family or a getaway for some personal solitude, you can’t go wrong with Eagle Mountain Lake.

From 1917 to 1942, it was home to the historic Liberty School, which was more than just a school. It was a place for community gatherings, weddings, and other fellowship events. Something was always going on at this children’s learning center, which is still an important part of the North Texas community. Only 30 minutes north of Fort Worth, there is plenty of peace and quiet with a great view of the Fort Worth skyline.

This lakehouse features beautiful views of Eagle Mountain Lake, and the yard is fenced in so that children can play safely. It includes a porch swing and a kitchen with all the appliances. There is also a fireplace, and pets are welcome.
  3. Creek Harbor Fish Camp - This camp is full of comfy cabins that make for a peaceful getaway in Fort Worth, Texas, home of the famous Stockyards. Cabins are 1-bedroom and 1-bath, sleeping 2.
